“Theater for a Cause” Call for Youth and Adult Actors

Join Little Theater Workshop as we create theater to support Pennridge FISH!

This fall, we’ve committed to giving 50% of the proceeds from our production of 10 Ways to Survive Life in Quarantine by David Zolidis to Pennridge FISH. But before we can do that, we need actors! Here are the details:

WHO: Actors of all skill levels, both youth (ages 7-18) and adults

WHAT: Each actor will be assigned a comedic 2-4 minute monologue to prepare. With help from Little Theater Workshop, they will develop their own characters/costumes/set at home. Each actor will also have the chance to participate in a small-group coaching session with an LTW Teaching Artist to help prepare their monologue. They will then record their monologue and send it to Little Theater Workshop, who will put them all together to make the production!

WHEN: Interested actors should email us at littletheaterperkasie@gmail.com by no later than Friday, October 23. The sooner you email, the more options you’ll have for your monologue! The production will be streamed on Friday 11/13 & Saturday 11/14 @ 7 p.m.

WHERE: The small-group coaching sessions and production streams are over Zoom.

WHY: 50% of the proceeds will go to help those who are most in need in our community during these challenging times. And, let’s face it, we miss theater projects!

HOW MUCH?: Actors participate for free! Audience members pay-what-they-can.

Ready to join this project? Email us at littletheaterperkasie@gmail.com with your/your child’s name and age range (ages for youth, or “adult” for those over 18 years old)! We look forward to hearing from you!

Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.
